CHEAP TRICK in 1978, which released a series of historic masterpieces and reached its climax in one go. The master reel of the symbolic sound board has been unexpectedly unearthed! This work is engraved with the “June 10, 1978 Boston performance”. It is a stereo sound board recording. Speaking of 1978, it was the heyday when the legendary first visit to Japan was realized and “HEAVEN TONIGHT” and “AT BUDOKAN” were also released in succession. First of all, let’s take a bird’s-eye view of the progress and check the position of this work.・January 2-21: North America #1 (8 shows)・March 7-April 2: Europe (19 shows)・April 20: Pocatello show・April 25-May 1: First visit to Japan (6 shows)←※AT BUDOKAN《May 24th “HEAVEN TONIGHT” released》・May 26-October 1: North America #2 (72 shows)←★Here《October 8th “AT BUDOKAN” released》・December 7-17: North America #3 (10 shows)・December 26-31: North America #4 (6 shows)This is CHEAP TRICK in 1978. There are no live maniacs as big as them in the rock world, but they were especially crazy in the 70s. 1978 was no exception, and shortly after their first visit to Japan, “HEAVEN TONIGHT” was released, and the large-scale tour “North America #2” started without any delay. The Boston performance of this work was the 13th performance, about six weeks after “AT BUDOKAN”. This show was broadcast on the American radio station “WBCN” and has produced many previously released groups. This work is the highest peak update of such a classic sound board. It is a new master announced by the prestigious excavation company “Krw_co”, and it was digitized directly from the 10.5-inch reel of the broadcasting station “WBCN”. The sound is a truly different class upgrade. Although the conventional master was quite prickly and piercing to the ears, this work is vivid and natural. Of course, the edges have not been rounded, but the density of the core has increased while the fine details remain intact, and the sound has been transformed into a lustrous one. Moreover, this work also brings out even greater heights with its own mastering. The original sound from the net still had a sharp edge to it, but this work has been beautifully treated. Based on “AT BUDOKAN”, the sound output at that time has been reproduced as much as possible, and the fast pitch has been adjusted just right. It is even more vivid than “AT BUDOKAN”, while also achieving a beauty and ease of listening that approaches the legendary live album. Such a top-notch sound depicts a stage that is similar but not identical to “AT BUDOKAN”. Let’s organize the set while comparing it here. Heaven’s Trap (6 songs) Stiff Competition (★★) / On Top Of The World (★★) / High Roller (★) / Surrender / California Man (★) / Auf Wiedersehen (★) Others (8 songs) Pale Highway: Oh Caroline (★) / Hello There / Come On, Come On / Big Eyes / Clock Strikes Ten / Southern Girls (★) Others: Need Your Love / Goodnight Now *Note: The “★” mark indicates songs that were not heard in the official “AT BUDOKAN”. In particular, the “★★” mark indicates songs that were not heard in “AT BUDOKAN: THE COMPLETE CONCERT”. … and so on. Six songs each from “IN COLOR” and “HEAVEN TONIGHT” were selected, and “Need Your Love” and “Goodnight Now” were added to them. A large number of songs were added from the just-released “HEAVEN TONIGHT”, and you can enjoy plenty of songs that you cannot hear even in the official “AT BUDOKAN”. This is a soundboard album that has been significantly upgraded and elevated from a long-standing standard to the realm of “AT BUDOKAN sequel”. Boasting the same band potential as the legendary live album in rock history, it also has a more vivid sound and the repertoire of “HEAVEN TONIGHT” is delicious. It is an absolute must-have. Stereo soundboard recording of the “June 10, 1978 Boston performance”. The highest peak update board digitized directly from the 10.5-inch reel of radio station WBCN. The spiky sound has been significantly upgraded, and the “HEAVEN TONIGHT” numbers that could not be heard in “AT BUDOKAN” can be enjoyed at the concert about six weeks later. It is truly a “sequel to AT BUDOKAN”. The Paradise Theater, Boston, MA, USA 10th June 1978 STEREO SBD UPGRADE!!! (72:17) 1. WBCN Intro 2. Oh Claire 3. Hello There 4. Come On Come On 5.
