Celebration of the Meters Funky Legacy Meters/Niigata,Japan 2024 Complete Soundboard Edition

The stage at Field of Heaven on the final day of the 2024 Fuji Rock Festival ’24 on July 28th was recorded on a stereo soundboard with 24-bit digital remastering of the broadcast master. First, the master stereo soundboard source was perfectly remastered using the latest professional equipment, and the thick bass and three-dimensional sound image were upgraded to an excellent sound balance, at a level that can be used as an official bootleg. The live performance, which was led by the original Meters legend, George Porter Jr., and the members of Dumpstaphunk, centered around Aaron’s son Ivan and Artie’s son Ian, started off in a good mood with “Street Parade”. After that, it was a best set that condensed the essence of the golden age Meters, and the performance was full of New Orleans flavor until the familiar last song “Fire On The Bayou”.
