Description

A live recording of free jazz pianist Cecil Taylor. A coupling recording of two live performances in Stuttgart in the 1960s, when the jazz world was in the midst of free jazz. Both have sound boards and there is no problem with the sound quality. Disc 1 is October 16, 1966, Disc 2 is November 10, 1969, and compared to 1966, when it was relatively still in form, the 1969 performance is a creative world filled with tension. An overwhelming chaotic free jazz improvisation unfolds. This is sure to be irresistible for those who like it. However, people who don’t know it won’t understand it at all, so I recommend it to people who love free jazz or who are looking for chaos. Disc 1 // October 16, 1966 // Soundboard Recording 1. Conquistador 2.
