Description
As a true veteran of the Canterbury scene, and continuing to be constantly active, this 116-minute complete recording of the performance at Harpenden on November 16th from the UK tour in the fall of 2017 was recorded from the DAT audience master. First of all, the warmth and clarity of DAT recording is superbly reproduced down to the finest detail, from the guitar picking sound to the flute tone, and because it was a hall with a capacity of 400 people, the performance and vocals have a direct feeling of line recording level. The performance also features a full set from the heyday of the 70s to the new work “PARADISE FILTER” at this point, and from the album, they played 7 of the 10 songs on the album, including “Fingers In The Till” and “I’m On My Way”, which had been played before the release, showing their activeness. And of course the repertoire of the masterpiece “Land of Grey and Pink” will be included, along with their debut album “The Caravan Comes In” to “BETTER BY FAR”, making this a wonderful night that can be said to be a career summary, all at the best quality.
