Description

Super hot Cannonball Adderley Quintet! This is a rare recording of a live performance held in Warsaw, Poland in 1972, when George Duke was in charge of piano. The members are also gorgeous, including his brother Nat Adderley, and George Duke, who later moved to the Frank Zappa Band and supported Zappa’s jazz rock and had a great influence. In particular, the performance of “Black Messiah”, which largely features George Duke, is a masterpiece.
