Description

This is a rare early live DVD containing a promotional live performance accompanying the release of her second album “Sax a Go Go” in 1993. Even before she became internationally popular, she was steadily gathering fans in her home country of the Netherlands, and even held promotional concerts like this one. Unlike her later, more complete style, her rough and wild stage performance is a must-see for fans, and her singing ability on the famous ballad “I Can’t Make You Love Me” is as expected. In addition, as a bonus, it will be a treasure title that includes Miles Davis’s representative song “So Fat” from the live performance in Nagasaki in 1992 at the end. The original source is a videotape recorded at the time, so there may be slight differences in image quality. Disc 2 has been recorded with high-quality audience shots from the 2011 North Sea Jazz Festival 2011. 100min Live at Den Heerden, Netherlands 06/28/1993 1.Interview 2.Sunday Afrernoon(acoustic pre-show) 3.Introduction By Gijs Staverman 4.Pick Up The Pieces 5.I Can’t Make You Love Me 6.Man In The Desert 7.2 Funky 8.So What(Nagasaki 1992) North Sea Jazz Festival 2011 Rotterdam, The Netherlands July 9th 2011 Candy/Empire State of Mind/Intro to Daylight/Daylight/Hey Now/Crazy/Lily Was Here/ Intro to Life of the Party/Life Of The PartyPick Up The Pieces
