Description

Of all the bands that played British music in the 1970s, they can be said to be one of the most British bands. From their UK tour accompanying the release of their 1977 album “Rain Dance”, we will be taking a look at their performance at Liverpool’s Empire Theater on September 24th. Almost complete recording with high quality audience recording that can be said to be miraculous at the time. It was recorded from the original master tape that was partially leaked on the Internet in recent years, and there are almost no live recordings from this period, and above all, it features Richard Sinclair of Camel and Mel Collins of King Crimson. This second season, which became a five-member band with the addition of the band, has been very popular among fans, and it’s great to be able to listen to a full live performance from that period in this quality. The set started with “First Light” and “Metrognome” in the same order as “Rain Dance”, followed by the familiar medley from “Snow Goose”, and then “Rain Dance” other than “Elke”. All songs from “ will be performed. And including “Song Within a Song” and “Lunar Sea” from “Moon Madness”, up to the last song “Never Let Go”, Andy Latimer’s weeping guitar, Peter Burdens’ keyboard, Mel Mel’s The ensemble with the addition of Collins’ saxophone is also wonderful, and on “Highways Of The Sun”, the twin vocals with Sinclair show off a different side from Camel’s previous image of weak vocals. A must-have item that contains Camel’s precious performances from the five-piece period in the highest quality. DISC 1 : 1. First Light/2. Metrognome/3. Unevensong/4.
