Description
The last day of the 1974 reunion tour, the Wembley Stadium performance in the UK on September 14th, was recorded as a complete A-rank audience recording at the time. The entire picture of this historic concert is reproduced with great quality that gives a sense of realism, and the taper-owned master has also been digitally remastered, making it the best stereo recording of the same performance. Also, there is a leaked take of the UK: BBC TV footage of this day, but the electric part in the second half, which was not recorded there, is also included. Another point is that you can hear the sense of reality and the nuances of the performance that cannot be experienced in the video, and the transcendental play of Stills’ “You Can’t Catch Me/Word Game” is a must-listen. Furthermore, the performance of the second half, which is not included in the video, is wonderful, and especially the last performance of Neil’s “Pushed It Over The End”, which is the best unreleased song of this tour, is too moving. The pitch speed has been corrected through mastering, and the classics from this tour are presented here in their best quality. Disc 1 : 1. Love The One You’re With 2. Wooden Ships 3.
