Description

Here is a rare full live recording of early Boss & The E Street Band. From the 1974 US tour, a complete recording of the December 7th New York and Geneva Theater performances from a good audience master at the time. This is a new excavated sound source that has never been available before, and fans should definitely check out the complete live performance before their breakout with “Born to Run” as a valuable sound source. Anyway, the stage where the youth exploded was a series of high-tempered performances, including “Gimme That Wine” with Clarence Clemons on vocals, “A Saint in the City”, and an early arranged version of “Jungleland”. The live performances during this period, when they first started performing under the name “E Street Band”, included many unreleased early arrangement numbers, and the concerts were described as “seen the future of rock’n’ roll”. A must-listen title from the early Boss that generated great reviews. DISC ONE : 1. Incident On 57th Street/2. Spirit In The Night/3. Does This Bus Stop At 82nd Street ?/4. I Want You/5. Growin’ Up/6. E Street Shuffle/7. It’s Hard To Be A Saint In The City/8. Gimme That Wine (Clarence Clemons Lead Vocals)/9. Jungleland DISC TWO : 1. Kitty’s Back/2. New York City Serenade/3.
