Description
From the 1978 Darkness Tour, which was thought to have run out of sound sources, a completely unreleased soundboard recording is now available. This sound source was recorded from the Louisville performance in early August, and its existence has been known on fan sites. However, due to problems in terms of sound quality and recording conditions, such as muffled sound quality and fading out during “Because The Night” at the end of the show, even though it was a soundboard recording, no items have been recorded until now. was overlooked without being released. The sound source released this time is still in the same condition, but the overly muffled sound quality has been alleviated, and the tape speed, which was too fast, which was a serious problem during playback, has been fixed, making it surprisingly easy to listen to. I have been reborn. We have also repaired the state of “Sandy”, which was recorded in an unbelievable state in the sound source that was circulating among traders, with the intro spanning two discs, and brought it back to perfect condition. Because the sound source was circulating in a somewhat rough state among some traders, core enthusiasts may be surprised that that sound source has been recorded in such a stable state. However, it is originally a soundboard recording that cannot be described as clear. Still, what led to this release is not only the valuable sound source, but also the splendor of the performance. First of all, before Bruce and the E Street Band play the usual live intro, Clarence, encouraged by Bruce, plays the signal for the show to start on the saxophone, which is a very humorous opening. But if you’re a fan, it’s probably a scene that will make you grin. Moreover, the performances starting from there are all wonderful things that are full of the characteristics of this tour. In particular, Chuck Berry’s cover of “Sweet Little Sixteen” was played for the first time that day and would be played frequently throughout the summer. However, the best one is “Prove It All Night” which is very popular on this tour. Every night is a wonderful blues guitar play, but this day’s play is also excellent. It is a content that reaffirms that the Darkness Tour was something special.
