Description
From the “Born To Run US Tour” after the release of “Run Away” in 1975, two performances on one day at the Roxy in Hollywood on October 18th were recorded in complete, both in good quality for the time, from the original audience master unearthed in recent years. First, the performance the day before at the same theater was a stereo soundboard sound source, and while the early show on the 18th had an incomplete audience source in circulation, this is the first time that everything from that day has been recorded. And from the opening slow version of “Thunder Road” to “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)” where the “Shaft Theme” pops out, and the final Detroit medley that would later become a classic, it is interesting to note that the album focuses on hidden masterpieces unique to this period, rather than a parade of so-called hit songs. Of course, the set list is different, and this is a must-listen item that brings back the vivid image of the Boss and the E Street Band when he was 26 years old and young at the time. DISC 1 : 01.
