Description
From the UK tour in 1980, which was the peak of their popularity in Japan, this live performance at Hammersmith Odeon, London on January 12th was recorded completely from the soundboard master using the broadcast sound source. Since they were originally much more popular in the UK than in the US, and since their third album “PARALLEL LINES” was a big hit and they rose to stardom, the excitement was tremendous. The live performance, which started with “Dreaming”, was a parade of hit numbers from the first three albums, and especially from the middle part onwards, there were pop tunes such as “Heart Of Glass”, “Hanging On The Telephone” and “Sunday Girl”, R&R covers such as “Louie Louie”, and the most surprising thing was that Robert Fripps jumped in at the end and performed Bowie’s “Heroes”. In any case, there are almost no full live recordings from this heyday left, so this is a valuable item that fans must listen to. DISC 1: 01. DJ intro / 02. Dreaming / 03. Slow Motion / 04.
