This is a live recording by the trio of jazz pianist Brad Mehldau, who has recently started to attract attention from rock and pop fans because he covers many rock and pop songs. This live performance was held at the Marciac Jazz Festival, which is held every year and which he often participates in. There are two soundboard recordings of this live performance. Source A is a radio broadcast of a part of the performance, and Source B is a complete recording. Source A has good sound quality, but the downside is that there are many parts where the DJ talk overlaps. Source B includes all the songs, but the downside is that there is noise. Therefore, we took Source B as the axis and extracted and replaced all the parts of Source A where the DJ talk does not overlap. The label’s specialty is perfect transition editing. This makes the best use of the good parts of Source A as much as possible to create a complete show. In particular, Radiohead’s “EXIT MUSIC” is a great arrangement and a must-listen.
