After the performance in Japan in June 2015 was very well received, a new double headliner North American tour with TOTO started in August 2016. The opening performance, August 25th at the Grand Theater in Merchantucket, Connecticut, is a complete recording from Digital Audience Master. The show started with a set reminiscent of the previous year’s performance in Japan, followed by “MEMPHIS”, followed by “A FOOL TO CARE”, which again has a strong R&B flavor, from two recent albums, and the opening song was “Runnin’ Blue” and “Mixed”. Up, Shook Up Girl,” the show started with an R&B-style number similar to the Japanese performance. While also including popular numbers such as “Jojo”, the middle section “Miss Sun” features a dialogue with Miss Monet of the black chorus, followed by “Until You Come Back To Me”, where Monet sings solo and Boz Supported by guitar. It is a famous song by Steve Wonder and Aretha Franklin, and Monet’s soulful singing voice is also wonderful.
