Description
Bow Wow Wow was created by the Pistols’ manager Malcolm McLaren, who recruited all the backing members from Adam and the Ants, who were the standard-bearers of post-punk at the time, and the vocals were performed by Annabella, a 14-year-old Burmese woman. They scouted Lewin and formed the group in London. After that, they made their debut with a single and an album in 1980, and the following year, in 1981, they released their second album, “Jungle de Fan Fan Fan”, which became a huge hit worldwide. From the 1983 US tour held during its heyday, the live performance in Boston on January 8th is recorded as a soundboard sound source from the broadcast master. Of course, this is a rare gem for a band with so few live recordings, focusing mainly on the numbers from their second album, which was a big hit, as well as their debut single “C-30, C-60, C-90, GO.” The previous year, they had come to Japan and held a joint concert tour with Madness, making it a nostalgic piece for fans who knew about the same time. 01.
