Description

A valuable title of a handmade label by collectors for collectors that was only distributed in a limited number of places. Booker T. Jones’ soulful organ, Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn’s groovy unison riffs in different octaves, and Al Jackson’s tight, stoic drums. It is a studio band of the prestigious Memphis soul Stax, and is a band that was even asked by Otis Redding, who was a major star, to accompany him to a live performance. The live performance from 1968, when they were at their peak as an instrumental band, was recorded from a high-quality soundboard, including the hit “Green Onions”, which was played to liven up the venue before the main act appeared. In the second half, big boss Albert King will also appear, and he will co-star with “Born Under a Bad Sign,” which he himself sang with Stax. This is a good title that can be widely recommended from enthusiasts to beginners.
