Description

“THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE TOUR” is still continuing as production begins on the next studio work. The latest and best video is now available. This work includes “May 31, 2019 Moscow Performance”. This show is not just one performance. After all, this is the first show in Russia in 30 years. Yes, this is the first Russian performance since the “Moscow Music Festival”, which was the biggest and last fireworks display in the 1980s. Also, if you look at them themselves, “THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE TOUR” is also in its third year. Last year’s performance in Japan is also fresh in my memory, but first let’s check the show’s position from the overall world tour picture. ●February 8th – August 8th, 2017: North America #1 (30 performances) September 14th – 23rd: South America #1 (5 performances) ●March 14th – May 18th, 2018 : North America #2 (28 performances), November 26th – December 8th: Japan/Australia (6 performances) ● May 31st – July 25th, 2019: Europe/Middle East (21 performances) ←★Here ★・September 22nd – October 2nd: South America #2 (5 performances) This is the schedule announced so far. Currently on tour in Europe, the Moscow performance of this work was the first concert. This work is a full audience shot taken at such a show. What’s more, it is the definitive edition that includes two types of superlatives. “Video 1” is included on disc 1, but it is so amazing that you will be surprised. Although it is an oblique shot from the right side of the stage (Phil X side), it is extremely close! It’s hard to say for sure since zoom is used a lot, but it’s probably in the front row. The arms and heads of the front row members are not included in the screen, and the members are very close together. That’s the same perspective as the camera pit. What’s more, from there they attack with even more zoom. Speaking of the way it approaches, it’s not just John’s bust up, but the profile of John that fills the screen. Moreover, the sense of stability is also excellent. Perhaps because it’s diagonal, the camera work mainly focuses on zooming in and out, and doesn’t move much left or right. Basically, he repeatedly moves in and out in time with John’s actions, and when showing Phil X and Tico, rather than swinging the camera, he pulls the camera into the frame. Because of that, the scene continues to remain stable even when the level is upgraded. And “Video 2” on the next disc 2 is also excellent. If “Video 1″ is an impressive close-up shot, this one’s symmetry from directly in front is amazing. Having said that, this is not a distant view either. Right in front of the flower path set up in the middle of the stage. In a sense, this is also a front row shot. Although there is some distance from the stage due to the flower path, it is still easy to see directly in front of it. In “Video 1,” the huge screen at the scene was a little hard to see due to the angle, but this one was neatly captured and looked like a multi-camera professional shot. And if you zoom in from there, you’ll be in a position where you can make eye contact with John. I forgot to mention this, but both the videos and the audio are great. Because it’s near the very front, the extra-thick core is wonderful, and it picks up the high notes that extend well, the midrange with plenty of response, and the deep bass that shakes your five organs. What’s more, the loud cheers have a three-dimensional feel that feels like they’re being carried from behind, so they don’t interfere with the performance or singing voice. The front row does not necessarily have a good sound, but there is no need to worry about this work. In particular, “Video 1” has such a sound quality that I would like to introduce it as an audio-only live album. The show drawn with such quality is reminiscent of last year’s Japan performance, but with a slight change. Of course, the basics are the same as the Japanese performance, but although 5 songs were dropped from the set, including the “THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE” numbers such as “Knockout” and “Roller Coaster,” on the contrary, only 7 songs were included. Increase in total. And the point of the additional songs is their breadth. While performing golden age numbers such as “Raise Your Hands” and “Blood On Blood,” they also performed songs such as “Runaway” and “These Days” from their debut, “Amen” from “WHAT ABOUT NOW”, etc. that were omitted from the Japanese performance. It evenly reflects the times. Although none of them are exclusive to Russia, as a result it is a greatest hits show suitable for returning for the first time in 30 years. And the show itself is amazing. Although there is no need to worry about fatigue as it is the first day of the tour restarting, I am concerned about the ensemble not being able to fully open their engines… or so I thought. As if they had been rehearsing very carefully, their performance and the energy they radiated were suddenly at full blast. Perhaps this is a result of the spirit of performing in Moscow for the first time in 30 years, but it is a show that will make Russians envious. And the Russian people’s breath is also wonderful. Although it never interferes with the extremely bold playing and singing voice, the close-ups create an excitement that shakes a huge stadium, and the ballads are filled with a moving sea of smartphone lights. You can experience the whole story from two special seats. 30 years have passed since the “Moscow Music Festival” that brought the golden 80s to a close. This is a masterpiece video that allows you to experience 100% of the great taste show of BON JOVI, which has returned to Russian soil.
