Description
Recorded on a soundboard of saxophonist Bobby Keys’ live performance in Buffalo on October 20, 2012, famous for his collaborations with the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and John Lennon. What Bobby’s playing with the Stones has in common is the “forward-leaning saxophone.” The Stones’ music is hammered by vocals, stirred by guitars, and stirred by drums. The bass was left behind (lol), but even though it was just an interlude, the saxophone continued to attack, urging it to rise even further. It is, so to speak, a marching trumpet.
