Description
Contains ultra-rare footage that allows you to visually check the day when Dylan made a comeback on tour, and the big surprise of George Harrison jumping in. This video was shot from the stands at Wembley Arena, and although close-ups are not possible due to the environment, the angle that allows you to see the entire stage with Dylan at its center is easy enough to see, and it can be used as an audience shot video from the late 1980s. I think it falls into the upper category. However, this video was sold not only among traders but also in shops since the boot video era, so it was familiar enough to enthusiasts at that time. Five years ago, the video master was made into a DVD among traders, and it was uploaded to the familiar dime site and spread widely. After that, an upgraded version appeared that replaced the camera audio with the current “DEFINITIVE FINAL NIGHT” sound source. This can now be easily viewed on YouTube, but the original audio version that was first released has been made into a DVD. Of course, in a simple sound quality comparison, the upgraded version wins by a landslide, but there is a reason why we chose the original camera audio version this time. Of course, that is the scene from “Rainy Day Women # 12 & 35″ where George appeared. There, the audience was excited about the appearance of George in the audio of the video, even more than the sound source of this CD. After all, the moment George appeared on stage, voices of “Harrison!” were heard, and the audience stood up as soon as George finished his performance, including the lead vocals. For that reason, the upgraded version, in which the actual voices and reactions were replaced with completely different sound sources, lost its value as a document. Now you can understand the importance of the original voice. And the scene in which George appears is enough to be worth watching. When George suddenly appeared on stage without being introduced to Dylan, he borrowed Mike Campbell’s sub guitar and joined the performance, and Dylan noticed it and invited him to “sing together.” Thanks to them, that scene was made possible. However, it is very typical of George to withdraw from the stage after the performance without getting in the way. The scene of a standing ovation from there is unique to video. For the reasons mentioned above, only upgraded audio versions are now on the market, and in fact, the original audio version is difficult to obtain even among traders.
