Description
Dylan’s 23rd original album, released in June 1985, features a total of 30 guests, from Mick Taylor and Ron Wood to allies Al Kooper and Sly and Robbie. We will also discuss various topics such as how the promotional video for the single “Tight Connection” was produced in Tokyo and he secretly came to Japan to film it. Valuable rehearsals, demo sound sources, and even unreleased tracks from the album recording sessions have been compiled into master quality and soundboard sound sources, all sourced from those involved. Although the generally over-produced sound of the mid-’80s was controversial at the time, the band’s raw sound is clearly evident here, especially when it was created in 1983 at the time of Infidel’s production. “Clean Cut Kid” was originally a song that Dylan gave to the Psychedelic Furs, but the band reportedly didn’t pick it up, and although it was a song that Dylan thought would be suitable for an aesthetic band, it did not match the original song. Fans should check out tracks such as this one, which has an even stronger swamp color. 01. New Danville Girl / 02. Tight Connection To My Heart (3) / 03. Clean Cut Kid (2) / 04.
