From the popular “Rolling Thunder Revue” in Dylan’s long history of live performances, this title compiles the best performances from 1975, all in master quality and soundboard recordings, in 2CD format. This tour, which started in October 1975 and was held all over the United States until May 1976, was based on the concept of “Dylan and a troupe of musicians traveling and playing music”, and toured relatively small halls with a large group of musicians, including Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Roger McGuinn, Gordon Lightfoot, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, and others. And while the performances have been released in “HARD RAIN” and officially in the “Bootleg Series”, this title compiles only takes that were not included in those, and here includes the soundboard recordings from 1975. While some of the individual sound sources are available online, they have been arranged together as if they were a single concert, with the intervals between songs carefully edited and the quality almost uniform, so the entire album is comparable to a regular live album.
