Description

Born in New York in 1951, after graduating from the Juilliard School, he joined Horace Silver’s band in 1973 and gained attention. In the late 1970s, he was active in Cedar Walton’s band, and from 1984 to 1986. Bob Berg quickly became a major figure through his activities with the Miles Davis Group. On July 4, 1985, while Berg was still in the Miles Group, at Seventh Avenue South in New York, he met guitarist Mike, a colleague of the Miles Group and with whom Bob had spent much time together until his death. Mr. Rhythm, who is in demand from Miles, Gillespie, Sanborn to Steely Dan, has two powerful guitars, Stern and Bill Frizell, a talented guitarist who was rapidly emerging at the time. Bob performed a rare live show, the oldest in existence as a leader, several decades ago, which is now out of print, with bassist Tom Varney and drummer Lenny White, who need no introduction. Bob Berg’s tenor is an item that is almost completely recorded for 80 minutes in extremely high-quality stereo sound that has been carefully mastered by the label’s own master, which was recorded by Generation’s young staff for recording from the previously released version. The perfect titles to enjoy to your heart’s content have arrived all at once! ! ! Live at 7th Avenue South,New YorkCity,NY January.04.1985 EX – AUD 2018 Original Remaster 79 min 1. Bruze 2.
