The bootleg LP “FRONT PAGE”, compiled mainly from live performances in 1975-76 and 1979, is back with the latest remastering! A new item has been released that has been digitally transferred and remastered from the mint condition analog bootleg 2-LP “FRONT PAGE” produced in the United States in 1979! Although it is said to be made in Australia, it was produced by the American bootleg label Phoenix Records, and was remastered by correcting the phase, removing scratch noise, and adjusting the levels during the digital transfer. Disc 1, which contains sides A and B of the record, is a high-quality stereo audience recording of a live performance held at Max Kansas City, New York on July 24, 1976. The clear and good sound quality, which can be said to be in the upper class at that time, has a wide range, and the vocals are large, and each part is recorded with a good balance. This was the second day of the Maxis Kansas City 2 Days live with The Heartbreakers, and the set list included 10 songs from the debut album that would be released about 5 months later, plus a cover of the Doors’ classic “Moonlight Drive.” The opening number, “German Lullaby,” is a rare unreleased song, with lyrics later changed to an early version of “Just Go Away.” The last two songs are studio live recordings with good mono soundboard recordings, although details are unknown. Disc 2, which contains sides C and D of the record, is a live performance held in Texas on August 16, 1979. The analog version was recorded in mono, but this work is recorded in a better stereo soundboard recording than the air check sound source of the FM program King Biscuit Flower Hour that was the source of this. The analog version also includes three demos from 1975, but these have been omitted because they are currently available on the official version.
