A rare recording of a live performance held in New York, My Father’s Place on June 1, 1978, at the time of the release of the masterpiece 2nd album “PLASTIC LETTERS” by Blondie, led by Debbie Harry, who is still active today, from the 1st US tour held at the time of the release of the masterpiece 2nd album “PLASTIC LETTERS”! It has been digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, and although it is mono, it is recorded with clear sound quality that can be said to be in the upper class for that time, and the vocals as well as each part are recorded very well balanced. In addition, the pitch deviation caused by the master has been carefully corrected. This day was a joint live performance with the British post-punk/pop band Squeeze. The set list included seven songs from their debut album, including their opening debut single “X Offender,” and ten songs from “PLASTIC LETTERS,” including the single “Denis,” released in February of the same year which reached number two on the UK charts and made it into the top 20 in most European countries, including number one in the Netherlands. At the end of the encore, they also played a cover of the New York Dolls’ “Jet Boy”!
