Description
The hero BLACK SABBATH and the steel god Rob Halford were born in the steel city of Birmingham. A title that allows you to experience the ultimate collaboration at the highest quality has been decided to be released! The second edition of this work is engraved with “August 26, 2004: Camden Performance”. This is a 2-disc set that records the ultimate co-starring performance with the finest multi-camera pro shots and stereo soundboard. Sabbath and Rob have performed together only three nights in their 50-year history. First, let’s look back at the three miraculous performances together with the simultaneously released “DEFINITIVE COSTA MESA 1992″. 1992 (Opening act for Ozzy’s retirement) November 14th “DEFINITIVE COSTA MESA 1992 (DISC 1)” November 15th “DEFINITIVE COSTA MESA 1992 (DISC 2)” 2004 (Pinch hitter during Ozzy’s sick leave) August 26th: Camden performance ←★This work★ This is Rob + Sabbath’s 3 performances. 2004 was the year Rob returned to JUDAS PRIEST, and to make his debut, he participated in “OZZFEST 2004”. A dream tour where you can watch “JUDAS PRIEST vs BLACK SABBATH” one after another every night has become a reality. However, towards the end, Ozzy contracted bronchitis. On the day of the Camden performance (the day after Rob’s 53rd birthday), Sharon contacted Rob and asked him to pinch hit, saying, “If you don’t sing tonight, we’ll have no choice but to cancel.” As expected, Rob was scared, but he practiced along with the live video he received on the bus. After playing Priest’s show that day, he took a shower and took the stage 10 minutes later as Sabbath’s frontman. [Upgraded with the best professional shot leaked by the people involved] It was an unprecedented “incident show” in rock history, and the record was also an incident. Immediately after the show, a multi-camera professional shot video for the screen was leaked by a person involved. The entire story of the ultimate collaboration was disseminated to the world through the legendary DVD “IRON GOD”. This work is also a leaked professional shot, but it further updates the highest quality. In “IRON GOD”, the sound was choppy, but “Into The Void” and “Paranoid” can be enjoyed seamlessly in the complete version! In fact, this sound cutout is not a problem with the master, but an error with the local equipment. “IRON GOD” itself was made into a DVD from the original digital master leaked by the people involved, and there is no error-free master in this world. However, it is human nature to want to experience a miraculous night in its complete form. Therefore, for this work, we carefully repaired the original audio and connected the riffs and backing from other parts to create a complete version. Therefore, on the video side, block noise remains in areas where equipment problems occur, but the audio is completely seamless. The live performance itself can be fully enjoyed without stagnation. Here, core collectors may remember the imported live CD “ROBBED IN NEW JERSEY”. That CD produced by overseas enthusiasts also had the errors corrected, but apparently the official version “REUNION” was used as the repair source. As a result, a completely different sound suddenly started popping up, and if you listened closely, you could even hear Ozzy’s voice mixed in. On the other hand, this work does not feel out of place at all, and the finish is beautiful, as if the error never existed from the beginning. In addition, this work has not only been repaired, but the overall sound has also been brushed up. Although the original sound is excellent, the on-site mix seems to have been leaked, and when played back in audio, it was a little flat. In that respect, this work has improved the clarity and sharpness by organizing each range. Achieves clearer and more three-dimensional sound. It is a musical work that serves as an “official replacement” for Rob & Sabbath, who have no official records. [The essence of 70’s Sabbath spelled out by Steel God] The ultimate heavy metal collaboration upgraded with such an ultimate sound is truly awe-inspiring. Rob in the simultaneously released “DEFINITIVE COSTA MESA 1992” was a pinch hitter for Ronnie James Dio, but in this work he is a substitute for the king Ozzy. Therefore, the drummer is the originator: Bill Ward, and the set is only 70’s numbers. Let’s organize the contents here.・BLACK SABBATH: N.I.B./Black Sabbath (★) ・PARANOID: War Pigs (★)/Fairies Wear Boots (★)/Iron Man (★)/Paranoid (★) ・MASTER OF REALITY: Into The Void/Children Of The Grave *Note: Songs marked with “★” cannot be heard on “DEFINITIVE COSTA MESA 1992” either. …and it looks like this. A total of 8 songs that are concentrated and reduced versions of the initial 3 albums. It is the ultimate “THE BEST OF ORIGINAL SABBATH”. In fact, these eight songs are the ultimate in terms of data. The history of the reunion of Sabbath spans 366 performances over the 20 years from 1997 to 2017, and these eight songs have been played at almost all of the performances (according to mania statistics, over 90% of all eight songs have been performed at over 90% of the performances). It was included in the set at the show.If this was the runner-up “Snowblind”, it would drop to 83%, and if it was the next song, “Dirty Women”, it would drop to 63%…and it seems to keep dropping. You can witness the ultimate best set due to the ultimate collaboration with super-excellent multi-camera professional shots. In addition to such a show, this work also has an exceptional documentary feel. As mentioned above, this work is a professional shot for the scene, so it is pitch black before the performance when no footage is used. However, what you can hear is the manager and Bill Ward announcing Ozzy’s absence. Since the audio is connected directly to the mix table, it is difficult to convey the audience’s reaction, but the mood at the scene is clear, as some slightly vulgar words that provoked the audience were booed. In addition, the valuable screen production footage that follows is also a must-see. You can also enjoy the complete version of “Sabbath Medley”, which cannot be seen with other professional shots, in a lossless manner (some cover bands play this video as is before their live performances). [Rob Sabbath’s ultimate stereo soundboard CD is also included] The audio, which was originally super superb, has been further upgraded. No matter how excellent the multi-camera pro shot is, it is a transcendental sound board that would be a waste to just use as a supplement to the video. Therefore, we have also included a live album of audio only on CD for this work. What’s more, this CD version also includes a bonus song, “The Wizard” sung by Rob. This is an official track recorded on the tribute album “NATIVITY IN BLACK” under the name BULLRING BRUMMIES, but the backing is by the originators: Geezer Butler & Bill Ward. It completely covers the stereo soundboard of “The original Sabbath sung by Rob with the real thing in the background” (By the way, the band name “BULLRING BRUMMIES” is a local joke in Birmingham. “BRUMMIES” means “Birmingham Guys.” Iommi was also originally scheduled to participate, but he was rejected due to contract issues. Brian Tills from FIGHT and Waino from THE OBSESSED are on guitar. Rob Halford & BLACK SABBATH have been considered for official membership many times in history, but it has not yet materialized. This is a 2-disc set that has evolved from its super-excellent multi-camera pro shot & stereo sound board. I really hope they form an official unit while Iommi and Rob are still alive, but this work is currently the closest thing to an official work. The ultimate super masterpiece.
