From the 1980 US tour accompanying the release of “HEAVEN & HELL” after the joining of Ronnie James Dio, the Seattle performance on July 19th is here in the first master quality, complete version. While incomplete sound sources have been distributed in the past, the latter half, which has never been heard before, is recorded directly from a high-quality audience master from a completely different source, and the quality is perfect. The highlight is still Ronnie’s vocals just after joining, showing off a vocal style reminiscent of Rainbow’s “Rising” period, as if to wipe away the image of the Ozzy era. Nevertheless, the 70’s Sabbath classics are accepted without any sense of incongruity, and Tony’s long guitar solo, which was unpopular with Ozzy, is still the same. And above all, four months later, this member also went on their first Japan tour, and the set list is almost the same, so it reminds us of that legendary performance in Japan.
