Description

The highest quality FM live album of BLACK SABBATH sung by Ray Gillan is back! What is noteworthy is the super sound that exceeds the official one. The deluxe edition of “SEVENTH STAR” that was released the other day also included a live version from Ray’s era (June 2nd Hammersmith Odeon performance), and it is still fresh in my memory that enthusiasts were excited. However, when I opened the lid, it was a copy of the old bootleg “RAY RULES”. There must have been many fans who were disappointed by the poor sound quality and poor workmanship that made it hard to believe it was official. This work was performed live in San Antonio on April 18, 1986, and was a completely different performance from the deluxe edition. Although it is a short broadcast of only 7 songs, the sound balance is so perfect that it is not “officially released”, but “it is rare to find such high quality sound even in the official version”, and of course it is worth comparing the disappointing sound quality of the deluxe edition. There is no. From the balance of each instrument to the cheers, the recording and mix are perfect “true official work”, and among enthusiasts this live is known as one of the ultra-high sound quality of all Sabbath broadcast sound sources. Originally a legendary high-quality broadcast, we also used a master directly from the broadcast master, and then carefully remastered it to a definitive specification. In the past, needle cracks were sometimes annoying on songs such as “Black Sabbath,” but this one doesn’t have any. In the future, unless the complete version is discovered, this work will be the final decision board. Not only is the sound good, but the live content is also rich. Ray has also improved in the three weeks since his first live performance after joining the group, and he has already built an original world by showing his amazing ability to effortlessly handle difficult songs from the Ronnie era (which no one else could sing properly). It’s starting. Perhaps due to the sense of freedom released from the band’s troubled Glenn, the stage exudes a sense of freshness (helped by the quality of the sound) and shines brightly. Although the ominous Sabbath of the 70’s is not here, it will be more familiar to British rock fans than the American-flavored blues rock of BADLANDS, and will become Ray’s masterpiece. Although it is short at only 7 songs, it contains a good balance of songs by Ozzy, Ronnie, and Glenn, and there is no better sample of Ray Sabbath than this. The highest grade version of the standard sound source that cannot be avoided as a Sabbath sound source from the Ray Gillan era, no questions asked! This is a highly recommended piece.
