In 1983, HR/HM fans all over the world were shocked at the time, with a performance in Genoa, Switzerland on September 25th from the Euro tour accompanying the release of “BORN AGAIN” featuring Ian Gillan as lead vocalist. Although there were some doubts as to whether Ian Gillan’s vocals were suitable as Sabbath’s vocalist, his presence and performance were overwhelming. Then there was a roar from the audience who heard the encore song “Paranoid” for the first time, including the solo “Smoke On The Water” where Tony’s guitar and Geezer’s bass gave a dark and intense sense of color.
