Description
In 1983, HR/HM fans all over the world were shocked at the time, with a performance in Genoa, Switzerland on September 25th from the Euro tour accompanying the release of “BORN AGAIN” featuring Ian Gillan as lead vocalist. Complete recording with high quality stereo audience recording. It is recorded with a powerful sound full of direct feeling, and although the balance is a little difficult in the first half, the content and sound quality are excellent from the middle, and it can be said that the quality is hard to believe that it has seen the light of day for the first time. After six performances, it was the opening night of the Reading Festival, and the beginning of a European tour that started about two weeks later, featuring songs such as Hot Line, Born Again, Disturbing The Priest, Zero The Hero, Digital All of the new songs at the time, such as Bitch, have a lot of original charm, and all of the songs are worth listening to with their turbulent performances. Also, Bev Bevan’s drum solo that follows Supernaut is completely different from Bill’s jazz-flavored jam-rock style, and is more technical and restrained. Although there were some doubts as to whether Ian Gillan’s vocals were suitable as Sabbath’s vocalist, his presence and performance were overwhelming. Then there was a roar from the audience who heard the encore song “Paranoid” for the first time, including the solo “Smoke On The Water” where Tony’s guitar and Geezer’s bass gave a dark and intense sense of color. A must-listen item for fans with high value as a record sound source! disc one : 1. SUPERTZAR/2. CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE/3. HOT LINE/4. WAR PIGS/5. BORN AGAIN/6. SUPERNAUT/7. DRUM SOLO/8.
