Description

This work is a complete collection of the few Ian Gillan era pro shots. This DVD includes promo clips and live pro shots from the “BORN AGAIN” era, as well as two songs that were performed again with Tony Iommi in later years. Let’s take a closer look at each one. Promo clips from the BORN AGAIN era (2 songs, 3 takes) First up are the promo clips produced during the “BORN AGAIN” era. These are “Trashed” and “Zero The Hero”. However, two versions of “Trashed” were produced, the original version and the broadcast version, because the video was caught by regulation. The difference is mainly women. In this clip, the main character who has a car accident is attacked by zombies, but in the original clip, a large number of sexy female zombies with high exposure appeared. Perhaps their bare skin was caught by self-censorship, but in the broadcast version, there were a lot of male zombies. The broadcast version also has a lot of live footage of Gillan SABBATH, so it’s a double whammy, but this work completes both of the two songs and three versions. Moreover, all of them are the highest peak version. “Trashed (original)” and “Zero The Hero” use the master before broadcast, and “Trashed (censored version)” also uses the best version of the digital rebroadcast. In fact, the quality is superb. All of them are visually beautiful enough to be recorded as they are on the official DVD. In fact, the original version has been released as a compilation laser disc, but this work is a version that even surpasses it. Live pro shots from the BORN AGAIN era (2 songs) Next is the extremely valuable live video of Gillan SABBATH. This is a multi-camera pro shot taken on “January 14, 1984 Hollywood”. This day was not a regular concert, but a special performance for the famous TV program “ROCK PALACE”. It is famous as the only “live pro shot” in the Gillan era, and this work is the highest peak master. In fact, it is two ranks lower than the promo clip above, but (at present) no further versions have been excavated. What’s even more regrettable is the sound. The footage is definitely live, but this show is based on mime. SABBATH also synchronizes the studio take. That said, the extremely valuable “moving Gillan SABBATH”. It’s also a multi-camera pro shot. Since then, enthusiasts around the world have been desperately searching for the best version, and this work is the latest and highest version. The promo clips from the reunion era (2 songs) The pro shots from the “BORN AGAIN” era are completed with the above 4 songs (5 takes). There are no other ones (by the way, the audience shots can be completed with the gift DVDR “MONTREAL 1983”). However, after that, the story changes. There are two more pro shots in which Iommi and Gillan reunited. This work also includes both bonuses. The first of these is the 1989 charity project “ROCK AID ARMENIA”. This project began with the Armenian earthquake in December 1988. It was a major disaster with 25,000 deaths and 400,000 evacuees, but the heavyweights of the rock world rose up to help the victims. Not only this project, but the music world in the 1980s was full of charity projects. BAND AID (1984) to save the Ethiopian famine, USA FOR THE WHOLE TIMES, which was a major hit with “We Are The World”, This project appeared at the end of the charity boom, with events such as AFRICA (1985), the 20th largest charity concert LIVE AID (1985), HR/HM-style HEAR ‘N AID (1986), and the Moscow Music Peace Festival, which supported the anti-drug campaign in the former Soviet Union. The highlight of this project is a cover of DEEP PURPLE’s “Smoke On The Water” by a luxurious cast of musicians. Not only Gillan & Iommi, but also Roger Taylor & Chris Squire, Paul Rodgers, Brian May and Dave Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore, and more. You can enjoy a feast of British rock heroes with professional shots. And the last one recorded is “ROCK AID The charity “WhoCares” was realized on the 25th anniversary of “ARMENIA”. It was a project centered around Gillan & Iommi, and in addition to the two heroes, it was a feast of luxurious members including Jon Lord, Nicko McBrain, Jason Newsted, and Linde of HIM. “ROCK AID ARMENIA” was a remake of “Smoke On The Water”, but at this time, original new songs “Out Of My Mind” and “Holy Water” were written, of which “Out Of My Mind” was also produced by Klopp. This work contains the video clip. It is super beautiful only for recent clips, but what is even more delicious is the song itself. Iommi, who was only “one of the many” in “Smoke On The Water”, is completely in control here. It is the Gillan version of “FUSED”, “THE DEVIL YOU KNOW” and “13”, and you can enjoy the 21st century version of “BORN AGAIN” in official quality. A promo clip of two songs that reunited with Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi, with only four songs and five takes from the “BORN AGAIN” era. This is a CD that contains all the pro shots of Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi layering their sounds. “ROCK PALACE” The Palace, Hollywood, CA, USA 14th January 1984 PROMO CLIPS and more (36:14) PROMO CLIPS 1.
