Black Sabbath/HI,USA 1980 & more

From the 1980 “HEAVEN AND HELL” tour, Vinnie Appice, who joined Sabbath after Bill Ward left the band on August 19th, performed in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 31st, which was his first performance, and the performance in Sydney, Australia on November 25th from the same tour, both of which were recorded as couplings from good audience masters at the time. First of all, the Honolulu stage was a clear cut recording of the difference between Vinnie’s drum sound at the time, which was harder than Bill’s, and in the latter half of the Sydney performance, despite equipment troubles, it was impressive to see that he had completely become accustomed to the band.
