Description
We have prepared a classic pro shot of the “SABOTAGE TOUR”. It is an upgraded version that breaks the world record. This work includes the “September 4, 1975 Santa Monica performance”. It is a multi-camera pro shot of the performance on the famous program “DON KERSHNER ROCK CONCERTS (commonly known as D.K.R.C.)”. Let’s check the position of the show on the tour schedule here. [1975] ・July 14th-September 14th: North America #1 (36 performances) ←★Here★ ・October 9th-22nd: UK #1 (10 performances) ・October 26th-November 4th: Europe (8 performances) ・November 21st + 22nd: UK #2 (2 performances) ・December 2nd-13th: North America #2 (8 performances) [1976] ・January 8th-13th: UK #3 (5 performances) This is the whole picture of “SABOTAGE TOUR 1975-1976”. The records at that time are vague, so the number of performances is not strict, but I think you can imagine the general flow. The Santa Monica performance in this work was the 28th concert. The pro shot of this show is familiar to long-time fans. Along with the legendary “Cali Jam 74”, it has been a representative video of the mid-1970s. That’s why it has been upgraded many times since the VHS era, but this work is the highest peak version. It is a new master that was recently unearthed, and it is even more beautiful than the version recorded in “THE OZZY OSBOURNE YEARS ULTIMATE EDITION” which was said to be the best until now! What is most wonderful is the freshness of the master. “THE OZZY OSBOURNE YEARS ULTIMATE EDITION” was also a visual beauty that could not be compared to the VHS era, but the screen still had roughness due to aging, and if you add the phrase “for the 70s”, it was at a level that could be called “excellent”. However, this work is extremely glossy without even a slight roughness. Ozzy Osbourne’s fringe is vivid down to the shaking of each strand, and Tony Iommi’s cross is dazzling. The shell-shaped drum set and the snowstorm falling in “Snowblind” are super clear. If it is just a box bonus, it is of a quality that can be made official as it is. The splendor of the show depicted in such an upgraded video is overwhelming. The length of five songs is unchanged only for the broadcast master, but the contents are particularly rich. The best of all are the first three songs, “Killing Yourself To Live”, “Hole In The Sky” and “Snowblind”! The flow of the mid-70s trilogy “VOL.4”, “SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH” and “SABOTAGE” condensed with highlights of each song is too great. The scent of the mid-70s, which is different from 1970 just after the debut and 1978 just before the dissolution, is perfect. “Killing Yourself To Live”, which was only performed a few times during the reunion era, is also valuable, but “Hole In The Sky” is even more so. Even in the long history, it has only been performed on the “SABOTAGE TOUR”, and of course the video is only this work. It is nothing but bliss to be able to witness it with an official quality multi-camera pro shot. Of course, the remaining two classic songs, “War Pigs” and “Paranoid”, also explode with the potential of 1975, which was full of fat. Unlike the fresh Brussels 70 (the video that was once considered to be Paris 70) and the collapsed “NEVER SAY DIE”, this performance is full of the golden age. Even in the legendary 70s, 1975 was full of the brilliance of the golden age. This is the highest peak update of the classic sound board and pro shot. Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica, CA. USA 4th September 1975 PRO-SHOT (UPGRADE) (24:45) 01. Killing Yourself To Live 02. Hole In The Sky 03. Snowblind 04. Warpigs 05. Paranoid PRO-SHOT COLOUR NTSC Approx.25min.
