Description
This work is recorded from the “Berlin performance on June 26, 1970”. It is a full audience recording. The 1970 record is already valuable, but fortunately, a second separate recording was left at the same venue. Moreover, the sound is also great, so it is really fortunate. To be honest, the sound with a lot of hiss is not the best, and there is an undeniable sense of instability in the sound quality, whether it is due to a change in the direction of the microphone or the storage state of the tape. However, the performance sound that jumps in from behind the hiss is extremely thick and strong. It is on so much that you don’t feel the distance, and the details are also fine. There is no doubt that it is a separate recording from the cheers between songs, but if the original master reel is excavated, you can feel the potential that may even exceed the broadcast sound source. And more than that, the taste of this work is the experience of a full show. Unlike CDs that reproduce the full length with patches, you can enjoy the full show with a consistent sound from start to finish. Since there are few recordings in 1970, the length itself is the best part (by the way, the intervals between songs are recorded a little more than the main press CD. I tried to supplement it for the main part, but it is undeniable that the sound quality changes in a few seconds. In the main press CD, the unreasonable patches are torn with an emphasis on the completeness of the musical work). Finally, let’s organize the contents of the full show set. Black Sabbath (3 songs) N.I.B. / Black Sabbath / Wicked World (★ *) Paranoid (6 songs) Paranoid / Iron Man / War Pigs / Hand Of Doom / Rat Salad / Fairies Wear Boots (★) * Note: The “★” mark is a song used to complement the CD. The “*” mark is a song that could not be heard on the symbolic sound boards “DEFINITIVE MONTREUX 1970” and “BRUSSELS 1970”. The CD “BERLIN 1970 REVISITED” has been elevated to a masterpiece on a par with the absolute masterpieces “DEFINITIVE MONTREUX 1970” and “BRUSSELS 1970”. The more amazing the content, the more you want to experience it live.
