While the 70s’ representative American music TV show “MIDNIGHT SPECIAL” has been releasing a number of precious live videos on the web in recent years, this title is a 68-minute master quality, pro-shot recording of a studio live performance when Jeff Beck and others appeared as guests on the episode hosted by Billy Preston on May 2, 1975. First of all, this special live performance by a luxurious lineup including Buddy Miles, who also appeared as a guest, and Max Middleton, who was also a member of Beck’s band at the time, has only been available as an audio source until now, so it can be said to be a long-awaited first public video, and although the main focus is Billy Preston, it is Beck that catches the eye.
