Description

Bill Frisell’s professional shot live collection. Contains four live performances from 1986 to 1996, totaling nearly 2 hours. Moreover, all the units are different, so you can fully enjoy the performance of a variety of buildings. First of all, it’s a 1996 live performance by a very unique quartet featuring trumpet, trombone, and violin. The ensemble, which takes care of each individual’s timbre, gradually expands and gains heat from its minimalist development, running towards its peak. Next was a trio with Paul Motian and Joe Lovano in 1994. With his unique tone, he lets you listen to a very straightforward free performance. And a solo performance in 1989. With beautiful tones, folk, and country-like fingering, he creates a rich, painterly sound world. The last performance was in 1986, and was a one-hour quartet performance with Mark Johnson, John Scofield, Bill Frisell, and Peter Erskine. Although Mark is the leader, the focus is on the clash between the two great guitarists. The entire stage had a strong jazz/rock feel, and all four members were in high spirits, inspiring each other, and it was a rare avant-garde guitar battle. The recording time will be 120 minutes.
