Description

“HOME FOR CHRISTMAS” is a complete recording of Bernie Marsden’s solo live performance held in Buckinghamshire, England on December 17, 2011 with the finest sound, allowing you to enjoy a fun and heartwarming special live performance. We have decided to re-release that special one! This live was a Christmas charity live held in front of a limited audience of around 150 people. This is a sound disc using the original DAT master by the same British taper as “BLUES FOR BERNIE: MILTON KEYNES 2013”. As you can see from the list of songs included, the set list for this live show is dominated by cover songs, which shows Bernie’s service spirit. From the intro, the bright and fun atmosphere of the venue is captured with maximum realism and brightness, allowing listeners to immerse themselves in the sound while being moved by the realism. The first song played is “Loved Another Woman” by bluesman Peter Green, who is also known as Gary Moore’s teacher. The warm tone of the guitar, the plump organ and bass tones, and the sharp sound of the drums, all of this recording is an exquisite recording that would make even a line sound source escape. This is an audience source that consistently captures the best musical sound until the end of the show. “Baby What You Want Me To Do,” “Ghost Blues,” and “Rambling On My Mind,” which are featured in the first half of the live performance, all have the best richness and groove, and the listeners can’t help but surrender to the groove created by the performance. It will be put away. Bryan Adams’ “Summer Of 69”, Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way”, and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” are all excellent Bernie interpretations. His playing blends in seamlessly, and even fans who are particular about the original songs will be able to listen to it easily. The audience showed a sense of unity with Bernie’s skillful staging, and during the final song of disc 1, “Sweet Home Alabama,” the fans in the venue sang the chorus, giving the listeners a great feeling of excitement. . On disc 2, the live performance is finally in its climax. “Sex On Fire”, “Steamy Windows”, and “Mustang Sally” have a driving performance that will make the listener enjoy rocking. Not only does he have excellent guitar control, but Barney also uses powerful tones and moody vocals to show off his multi-talented vocals. Its true value is Steppenwolf’s cover “Born to be Wild” and the familiar WHITESNAKE number “Here I Go Again.” For those who only know him as the “old WHITESNAKE guitarist,” his presence is nothing short of surprising, as he sings with a deeper voice (or so I think) than Coverdale’s. Sho! In the second half of the show, the Kinks’ “You Really Got Me,” the Temptations’ “Shakey Ground” (the riff of “Foold for Your Loving” explodes in the intro of the same song!), and the Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There” were played in quick succession. The live mood was at its peak. Surprisingly, the encore included Prince (!)’s “Purple Rain”. Barney’s plump appearance doesn’t connect with the stylish Prince, but his performance is superb. The live performance, which closes with a rich aftertaste, is sure to leave a great sense of satisfaction in the hearts of the listeners! We hope that as many rock/blues fans as possible can enjoy this superb live documentary that will entertain and move listeners for approximately 105 minutes. Along with the 2013 live “BLUES FOR BERNIE: MILTON KEYNES 2013”, this is a super first-class live source that captures the current Bernie Marsden in the best possible way!
