A total of 7 songs from Benny Golson’s 90th Birthday Tour 2019, recorded on July 1st when he performed at Elbjazz Festival 2019 in Hamburg, Germany, in the finest stereo soundboard sound source. This year, the quartet went on a world tour, and regular members Mike Redone, Buster Williams, and Karl Allen served as backing for the Japan performance in June. This is a great live performance featuring Joan Monnet, a well-regarded piano poet.
