Description
A complete recording of the demo recordings that The Beatles did in May 1968 prior to the recording sessions for The White Album! Many of the simple demo performances were completed in The White Album, but some were not included in the album and would later see the light of day as solo artists, such as Paul’s “Junk,” John’s “Child of Nature,” George’s “Circles,” and “Sour Milk Sea.” These are valuable private tapes that are indispensable for Beatles research, as they can be heard in their original versions. Until now, this recording, known as the “Esher Tape” or “Kinfaunce Demo,” was recorded by four people at George’s home, and some of it was included in the Anthology, but this release includes all of the existing recordings. In the past, the order of the songs and the intervals between songs were edited, but this release has been newly remastered from the longest original master, and this is a highly recommended title that delivers this valuable record of The Beatles playing a rough demo in a relaxed atmosphere in the best quality complete version. 1: Julia 2: Blackbird 3: Rocky Raccoon 4: Back In The U.S.S.R. 5: Honey Pie 6: Mother Nature’s Son 7: Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da 8: Junk 9: Dear Prudence 10: Sexy Sadie 11: Cry Baby Cry 12: Child Of Nature 13: The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill 14: I’m So Tired 15: Yer Blues 16: Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey 17: What’s The New Mary Jane 18: Revolution 19: While My Guitar Gently Weeps 20: Circles 21: Sour Milk Sea 22: Not Guilty 23: Piggies 24: Happiness Is A Warm Gun 25: Mean Mr. Mustard 26: Polythene Pam 27: Glass Onion 28: Junk (anthology mix) 29: Honey Pie (anthology mix)
