Description

An alternate album that documents the production of the beautiful final album “Abbey Road”! The latest edited collection that traces the final path from the unfinished early sessions to unreleased songs! The latest edited collection “Everest – Alternate Abbey Road Album” is a production document of “Abbey Road”, which was the Beatles’ actual last album recording. After the Get Back sessions in January 1969 and the rooftop live performance, the Beatles regained their unity and confidence and continued working on a new album. However, without a clear concept like Get Back, the working title of the album was “Everest”, which was inspired by the cigarette brand and means the highest peak. Although it was eventually released as “Abbey Road”, many of the songs included were performed in unfinished demo form during the Get Back sessions, and it is interesting to see the original form of each song recorded. This compilation is based on the early recordings, and includes early takes, session recordings, and outtakes that were not released at the time. Disc 1, “Everest – Alternate Abbey Road Album,” includes 18 related tracks, including “Come and Get It” and “Goodbye,” which were not included on “Abbey Road,” based on the concept of a pre-finished album. These already known tracks and takes are also included in the latest remastered sound source with a different mix from the previous release. Other tracks are also edited to be enjoyed as the unfinished album “Everest,” consisting of alternate mixes and basic tracks from the early stages. Disc 2, “Early Sessions of Abbey Road Tracks,” is another alternate album that literally recreates the album “Abbey Road” in the order of the tracks, focusing on the recordings from the Get Back sessions before the full-scale recording sessions. This disc contains even earlier demos and unfinished versions than DISC 1, and is also a newly remastered sound source with a higher quality than past Get Back related sound sources, and the difference is obvious when you listen to them. This time, the album jacket is reversible, so you can choose between the late Beatles “Revolver” type created by Klaus Boormann and the “Everest” type, which is a collage as the title suggests. This is the latest edited collection that documents the production of “Abbey Road,” a masterpiece that marks the end of The Beatles’ history! DISC 1 EVEREST – ALTERNATE ABBEY ROAD ALBUM 1.
