Description

Nowadays, the studio live performances that The Beatles performed on BBC Radio have been officially released, and can be enjoyed with sound quality that is comparable to that of regular studio albums. In particular, the 1963 “POP GO THE BEATLES” featured a large number of unreleased covers that had never been performed since, and was treated as a jewel among enthusiasts. The LP “YELLOW MATTER CUSTARD” released by TMOQ was the first to introduce such precious performances to the world. The selection of songs was exquisite, and the quality of the content, which was a compilation of all the cover songs performed on the previous program on one LP, was highly praised. However, it is an LP item from the early 1970s, so the sound quality is far from excellent, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is rather “rough” (lol). It was probably recorded from a radio speaker with the volume turned up, and the sound is generally distorted, which is like the moon and the turtle compared to the current “LIVE AT THE BBC”. The poor quality and low pitch of LP items from the early 70s are combined, making it a quality that cannot be called “for everyone”, even if you say so yourself. In “I Just Don’t Understand”, the sound quality drops due to poor reception of radio waves. Nevertheless, there is no other item that allows you to listen to all the unreleased covers performed in “POP GO THE BEATLES” at once, and the enthusiasts of the time were grateful to listen to it. Now that the quality has improved so much and it is easy to listen to, the old masterpiece “YELLOW MATTER CUSTARD” has long since outlived its usefulness, but for vintage enthusiasts, this sound is nostalgic. There are many enthusiasts who feel this way, and in the 21st century, the Remasters Workshop carefully filed this vintage LP of TMOQ. As I said at the beginning, this LP had poor quality of the early 70s items, contrary to the good content. That is why it is extremely difficult to trace it cleanly. Remasters Workshop has done a great job of that. If you are a fanatic who owns the original LP, you will be amazed. Not only that, the pitch has been adjusted properly. It is a wonderful finish that allows you to enjoy the nostalgic rough sound quality (lol) along with a sense of stability that is much easier to listen to than the original LP. I think it can be called a masterpiece among the many releases of Remasters Workshop. Naturally, the package reproduces the nostalgic stamp cover. Not only can you enjoy the vintage sound, but you can also enjoy it as a TMOQ miniature that will make collectors cry! THE BEATLES – YELLOW MATTER CUSTARD (33:14) 1. I Got A Woman 2. Glad All Over 3.
