Description
The Beatles’ first attempt at filmmaking, Magical Mystery Tour, was released in the UK as a two-disc EP in December 1967, but in the US as a full album edited by Capitol in November 1967. It was later released as an album in the UK and is now an original album following Sgt. Pepper’s. In addition to the soundtrack of the TV broadcast of Magical Mystery Tour, it also includes “Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane” and “All You Need Is Love,” which were only released as singles at the time and not included on an album, making it a best-of album of the Beatles’ middle period. CD1 contains a newly edited multi-track stereo remix of the original sound source, which has been newly remixed by separating the vocals and instruments from the original sound source, as well as a naked vocal track featuring raw vocals. CD2 also contains the US analog master stereo mix, which is faithful to the original, including some pseudo-stereo sound sources. The backing tracks instrumentals include all the songs on the album in karaoke form without vocals. This is the ninth installment in the collection series, a must-see for Beatles sound research, remixed using a new dimension of AI sound analysis.
