Beatles Let it Be Original Reference Acetate & Different Mixes Collection

All tracks from the original acetate masters of Glyn Johns before editing the album “GET BACK” are remastered! Includes the soundtrack for the movie “LET IT BE”, mixed versions of John Barrett and Anthology. Also includes unreleased orchestral overdubs and acetate mixes for the album “LET IT BE”. “LET IT BE: THE LAST SESSIONS” is the final volume of the “GET BACK MASTERS” series, which compiles the Beatles’ Get Back sessions held in January 1969! The “Get Back Sessions”, which were recorded during the filming of the movie, were recorded at Twickenham Studios, Apple Studios, and a rooftop concert. After that, the album “GET BACK” produced by Glyn Johns was produced, but its release was postponed and canceled, and it was entrusted to Phil Spector, and in 1970 it was released as The Beatles’ final album “LET IT BE”. Until now, the “GET BACK MASTERS” series has been released with new stereo remastered sound sources, including the Apple Studio edition (8CD), the complete rooftop concert edition (3CD), and the Twickenham Studio edition (8CD), but this “Last Sessions” includes the original acetate discs leading up to the completion of the album “LET IT BE”, additional sessions, as well as movie soundtracks and various different mixes. It is a collection of sound sources that follows the process that took place after the Get Back sessions. The first track, “GLYN JOHN’S ORIGINAL REFERENCE ACETATE,” is commonly known as “KUM BACK,” and contains all the first mixes familiar from the analog LPs of the past. These were originally cut as acetates as reference mixes for the members to take home and listen to, rather than for release. These tracks were later produced in different sound processing and editing from Glyn Johns’ album “GET BACK,” and are not included in the DX edition that can only be heard here. There have been many releases so far, but this time they are newly remastered with noise processing. The following “DIFFERENT MIXES COLLECTION” is a collection of various tracks that have been released after the Get Back sessions, with modifications, overdubs, and remixes. It also includes the soundtrack for the movie “LET IT BE,” different mixes of John Barrett and Anthology, as well as unreleased orchestral overdubs and acetate mixes for the album “LET IT BE.” This is an original edited collection of complementary sound sources that serves as the final installment of the “GET BACK MASTERS” series, including “I Me Mine” and “Across the Universe,” which were added when the album was changed from “GET BACK” to “LET IT BE,” and the orchestral overdubs added by Phil Spector, which can be considered the “final session.” ORIGINAL REFERENCE ACETATE & DIFFERENT MIXES COLLECTION CD1 GLYN JOHN’S ORIGINAL REFERENCE ACETATE 1.
