Beatles/Kinfauns Demo Session SBD

The title “Kinfaunce Demo Sessions”, famous as the acoustic demos recorded at George Harrison’s house prior to the recording of “The White Album” in 1968, is a 2-CD set recorded with high quality soundboard audio. The first title is a home recording made in May 1968 when all the members gathered at George’s home (Kinfauns) after returning from meditation training in India in preparation for the production of “The White Album”. It is known as “KINFAUNS” or “Escher Demos” from the place name Esher. Disc 1 directly records the best quality master of “KINFAUNS”, which is the simplest and most familiar to fans. This is the 100% original “Kinfaunce Sessions” without adding any new material, changing the order of the songs, or replacing any songs that are already in circulation. It is also interesting to compare the original versions of “HONEY PIE” and “JUNK” with the anthology versions. Disc 2 also includes the additional takes of “POLYTHENE PAM”, “MEAN MR. MUSTARD”, “GLASS ONION” and “HAPPINESS IS A WARM GUN” that were recorded during this session but not included on the master recording, and the order of the songs has been changed to fit the overall flow of the album. Of course, these tracks have not been replaced or substituted with those on the official “Anthology” versions, and are far more realistic demo tracks than the “Anthology” versions.
