This collection, “Help!”, is The Beatles’ fifth official UK album, released in the UK on August 6, 1965, and also the soundtrack to “Help!”, their second film, following “A Hard Day’s Night” in 1964. It includes the hit singles “Help!”, “Ticket to Ride,” the Bob Dylan-influenced “Blow Away,” and the classic “Yesterday,” featuring string quartet. Incidentally, in the US, the album was released as a film soundtrack, with a different tracklist consisting of the UK A-side and instrumental tracks. When first released on CD in 1987, George Martin remixed the original mix. This CD features the original mono UK pressing in the first half.
