Beatles/Formal Get Back Sessions Vol.1-1

Throughout the Get Back sessions, there were rehearsals and sessions that were not intended for official recording, and recordings with proper takes. The members gathered together to play a variety of songs, from light jams to oldies and their own songs, and when they warmed up and decided to record this properly on 8-track tape, someone called out. “Glyn, take this, please.” If you listen to the actual recordings, you will hear phrases such as “Glyn, take this,” “Take it Glynnis,” and “Tape this Glyn.” Taking these as a signal, Glyn Johns wrote the take number on the tape box and began recording. This album does not contain any recordings such as rehearsals or sessions. All the recordings were recorded on EMI 8-track tapes by Glyn Johns and George Martin, and this is the first time they have been recorded in the correct take numbers and in the order of recording.
