Description

“ARTIFACTS II” is the sequel to 1993’s “ARTIFACTS,” which included rare Beatles recordings. Contains the most elusive and rare Tracks. More than 30 years have passed since the Beatles began writing and recording music that would forever change the popular music scene. During those 30 years, countless tapes were recorded and archived by the Beatles at work, at home, in the studio, on radio and television, and in various locations around the world. This “ARTIFACTS II” contains the best of the rest. Like “ARTIFACTS,” the sound sources are arranged in chronological order, and recordings and background information are included to help you understand the sound sources. That’s considering these CDs, which contain historical recordings from the Beatles’ golden age. This disc includes “Twist And Shout” from the 1964-1965 EMI Studios Outtake and the 1964 Hollywood Bowl concert, as well as BBC radio appearances. In Track-6, you can listen to “Honey Don’t” sung by John instead of Ringo, and you can also listen to Take where he misspells the lyrics and plays incorrectly. Also, Paul’s early Demo “Michelle” is from a so-called “garage tape”.
