A Collection Of Beatles Oldies, known as the only compilation best album from The Beatles’ active period, has been digitized directly from the original UK version released in 1966. The album contains 16 songs, including the main singles from 1963 to 1966, some album tracks, and “Bad Boy,” which was unreleased in the UK. Among them, “From Me To You,” “Let’s Hold On to Love,” “I Feel Fine,” “Bad Boy,” “Day Tripper,” “Paperback Writer,” and “I Want to Hold You” are stereo remixed for the first time on this album. In particular, “Day Tripper” and “Let’s Hold On to Love” were remixed in stereo for the album, and “She Loves You” had its 2ch stereo master tape already discarded, so a pseudo stereo master tape was created and recorded, resulting in remastered takes that can only be heard here. Incidentally, this album was removed from the Beatles catalog when the original album was released on CD in 1987, so it seems difficult to make it official, but core fans should check it out.
