This is a memorial item for the solitary genius Brian Wilson, who passed away in June 2025 at the age of 83, and is a recording of the June 4th performance in Copenhagen, Denmark, during the 1980 European tour, which was a hot topic at the time due to Brian’s return, from a master tape with a good audience for that time. First, the three brothers Carl and Dennis, including Brian, were all together, and the best lineup of the Beach Boys ever, with Mike Love, Al Jardine, and Bruce Johnston, was realized on this tour. The Knebworth performance at that time was later filmed and passed down as one of the best live performances of the 1980s. And just before that, this Copenhagen performance was held, and in addition to the representative songs from the 1960s, new songs at the time such as “Keepin’ the Summer Alive” and “Good Timin'”, as well as “You’re So Beautiful” by Dennis Wilson, were performed.
