Description

After Cream broke up, Ginger Baker, after his time in world music with Air Force, formed the supergroup Baker-Gurwitz Army with the former Three Man Army Gurwitz brothers. This is a complete recording of a live session recorded at the BBC Paris Theatre in London on February 22, 1975, during the UK tour accompanying their second album, Elysian Encounter, from the original transcription disc that was the master broadcast by the BBC. As the original master of the radio show, it is of such quality that it could be officially released as is. Armed with Ginger’s aggressive drums, Adrian’s British guitar, and Paul’s mellow melodies, this performance is so amazing that it will amaze you that it was such an amazing performance, even though there are almost no recordings left of it. And compared to the only remaining live album, each song changes more and more with each live performance, and the performance, which was always performed with a five-person lineup, unfolds an incredible performance that can be said to be the best rock band of the time. As a bonus, a separate broadcast recording of “Memory Lane” has been added on the soundboard, making this a masterpiece that allows you to experience the profound charm of mid-70s British rock once again. 01.
