The original BAD COMPANY’s final studio album was “ROUGH DIAMONDS,” but they disbanded shortly after its release. Of course, they later reunited, but their final tour as an active band was in 1979. Speaking of soundboards from that time, the recording in their hometown of London on the official album “LIVE IN CONCERT 1977 & 1979” is famous, but that was “March 9th,” just after the album’s release. In contrast, this work’s Landover performance was the first day of “North America #3,” about six months later. As mentioned above, the “DESOLATION ANGELS Tour” was the last tour of the golden age, and “North America #3” was its final stage. This album is also a live album from the band’s final days, just before their biggest turning point. This album, which captures the stage in your mind, is truly real and raw. Also surprising is “Hey Joe.” This song is a standard that goes without saying, but it wasn’t actually performed by FREE or Paul Rodgers on their solo shows or on “The Hendrix Set,” and it was only performed by Bad Company in 1979.
