Description

BAD COMPANY, who sent “DESOLATION ANGELS” to third place in the US and closed the 70s with a splendid bang. Here is a soundboard album that will pour into your brain the last tour of the golden age. This work was recorded at the “Landbar performance on August 31, 1979”. It is a stereo soundboard recording. The last studio album of the original BAD COMPANY was “ROUGH DIAMONDS”, but they broke up immediately after its release. Of course, they later reunited, but their last tour during their active (?) period was in 1979. First of all, let’s take a bird’s-eye view of their memorial activities and approach the position of this work.・February 28th-March 6th: UK (4 shows) {“DESOLATION ANGELS” released on March 7th} ・March 7th-April 6th: UK (13 shows) ←※Official ・April 30th-June 7th: North America #1 (26 shows) ・June 22nd-July 22nd: North America #2 (20 shows) ・August 31st-September 22nd: North America #3 (7 shows) ←★Here★ ・October 15th: Tempe show This is BAD COMPANY in 1979. Speaking of the sound board at that time, the recording of the official album “LIVE IN CONCERT 1977 & 1979” in London, his hometown, is famous, but that was “March 9th” just after the album was released. In contrast, the Landover performance of this work was the first day of “North America #3”, about half a year later. As mentioned above, the “DESOLATION ANGELS Tour” was the last tour of the golden age, and “North America #3” was the final stage. This work is also a live album of the final period just before the biggest turning point. This work, which pours such a stage into the brain, is really real and low. Although it starts with a slightly explosive feeling at the beginning, it also becomes beautiful in about 1 minute. Even so, it is still in the realm of vintage sound boards, but the extremely thick direct feeling that is different from the audience is wonderful, and even if the sounds spun by the four people overlap, they do not mix and flow out. The ensemble of the golden age is played in the brain, and the sense of synchronization that permeates the whole body is tremendous. Such a synchronous sound board depicts the full show of BAD COMPANY, whose demise was imminent. Let’s organize the full set that will be shown plenty of repertoire that will not be played after the reunion. Desolation Angel (6 songs) Gone, Gone, Gone / Oh, Atlanta / Rhythm Machine (★) / She Brings Me Love (★) / Evil Wind (★) / Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Others (10 songs) Bad Company: Bad Company / Movin’ On / Ready For Love / Can’t Get Enough Straight Shooter: Good Lovin’ Gone Bad / Shooting Star / Feel Like Makin’ Love Others: Simple Man / Run With The Pack / Hey Joe (★) *Note: The “★” mark indicates songs that were only available in 1979. …And so on. As you would expect, six “DESOLATION ANGELS” songs are being played on a grand scale in real time. Three of them are rare songs that can only be heard on this tour. Another surprising song is “Hey Joe”. It goes without saying that this is a standard, but in fact it was not sung in FREE or Paul Rodgers’ solo live or “THE HENDRIX SET”, and only in 1979 by BAD COMPANY. This work allows you to enjoy such a precious cover on a soundboard. A month and a half later, BAD COMPANY, who finished the “DESOLATION ANGELS Tour”, disbanded without returning to the road. It will take about 20 years to regain their original form again. This work is a valuable complete soundboard album that allows you to enjoy such a live performance of the final board.
